Here are a few ideas for your family to enjoy the weekend.
Parades
On Monday, Delaware County’s Memorial Day parade will begin at 10am outside the Media Theater, and will finish at the Delaware County Courthouse with a ceremony.
In Havertown, on Monday at 11am, the Manoa American Legion Post 667 will be hosting a ceremony for Memorial Day. The ceremony will include providing military honors to deceased members and a short speech about the mission of the Legion. Everyone is welcome!

Barbecues
Barbecues are a great idea for the weekend, to have family and friends over and to enjoy time together. Here are a few recipes for barbecues: Five Cheese Pimento Cheese, Watermelon Salad with Mint & Radishes, Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers, Buffalo Chicken Rolls, Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Dip, and Corn Fritters.
Spring Cleaning
Even though summer is closer than ever, it is an excellent time to go through the house and clean up.
The Devon Horse Show
It begins on May 21, 2026, and includes plenty of events for families of all ages. The fair’s proceeds benefit Bryn Mawr Hospital, which is a great cause. There is art, events, a fair, and food!
