Penn Construction & Design Testimonials

Dan and his team built a fantastic mud room for us and redesigned our family room Their ideas were incredible and the craftsmanship was top notch. They were always on time, finished fast and were responsive. We also have young kids and his team was very friendly with them and allowed them to watch and converse. I highly recommend Penn

These guys did a great job! We had three companies come in and provide us with a quote, and Penn Construction not only gave us the best quote, but they made helpful recommendations, and did more work than either other contractor offered to do. The men were on time, professional, clean, and knocked out a huge job in two days. Very glad we found these guys!

When we purchased our house 2 years ago, we had a contractor replace a picture window with a bay window. After a year, it began to leak. We called Penn Construction & Design to inspect the problem. Dan Greenspun advised us that the bay window should have had a roof over it to keep rain from sitting in and eventually saturating the exposed top. Penn D & C not only repaired the damage, but built an attractive roof that perfectly matched the house over the bay window. We are now dry and again enjoying the view.

Kitchen Cabinets: Reface or Replace?

Kitchen cabinets are a vital part of any kitchen renovation. When planning a kitchen remodel, two of the most important decisions are whether to reface or replace your cabinets. There are many factors to consider when making this decision.

The first is the condition of your current cabinets. If they are in good condition, and you are happy with the layout of your kitchen, then refacing may be the best option. This option will give your kitchen a new look without having to replace all of the cabinets. However, if your cabinets are in poor condition, or you want to change the layout of your kitchen, then replacing your cabinets may be the best option. Replacing your cabinets will give you the opportunity to create a completely new look for your kitchen.

The second factor to consider is cost. In general, refacing is cheaper than replacing. However, this will vary depending on the materials you use and the size of your kitchen. If cost is a major consideration, then speak to us about different options for refacing or replacing your cabinets.

The third factor to consider is time. Refacing generally takes less time than replacing, but it will still take several days to complete. If you need your Kitchen Renovation completed quickly, then replacing your cabinets may be the best option.

Ultimately, the decision of whether to reface or replace your Kitchen Cabinets will come down to personal preference and budget.
