Paint Color Ideas for Bathrooms

Bathrooms are a space in your home used everyday, and having the right paint color is incredibly important. There are so many color options and themes, and here are a few paint colors that Penn Construction & Design loves. 

 

Your paint color is also a big proponent in the overall decor theme of your bathroom. There are many common themes, two of the which include spa or ocean. While popular, they aren’t the only options. Many people choose modern, jewel-themed, or nature-themed rooms. Bathrooms 

 

Focusing strictly on color, the first section will highlight the white color family. These shades are exceptionally common—and for good reason. It is very easy to match your bathroom to white tones, and as you upgrade or change your bathroom over time, the paint color remains versatile. Here are a few options, beginning with cool whites. High White Reflective, Snowbelt, Pure White, Clean Slate, Ibis White, & Natural White. Warm whites are also extremely popular, with a few including the shades Cotton White, White Flour, White Sand, Cold Foam, Marshmallow, Medici Ivory, & Nacre

 

Another popular color family for bathrooms is blues. There are so many tones of blues to pick from, and the color blue is known for being calming, peaceful, and nonthreatening overall. Beginning with bright blues, here are few options, Sky High, Mountain Air, Aviary Blue, Flyway, Amalfi, & Jay Blue. All mid-tone blues are stunning, and these are some of the most beautiful, Byte Blue, Atmospheric, Vast Sky, Stream, Aquitaine, Bluebird Feather, Secure Blue, Georgian Bay, & Loyal Blue. Finally, there are muted blues, which are extremely popular, and have many options. Blues are one of the best choices, and with so many options, different decor schemes can match easily. 

 

Neutrals are always a great option, and are very soothing to most people. They are also much more natural in nature, which makes it easier to match to the tile in the bathroom, and to the bathroom fixtures.
