Interior Design Trends 2026

Happy New Year! In honor of the beginning of 2026, here are a few home trends we are predicting to be very popular this year.

The color green! Homes have been heading towards more natural colors and textures. There are many good green tones, including hunter greens, evergreens, and olive colors. Between warm and neutral tones, there is a green out there for everyone. From paint colors to furniture to small decor, green is a great color to match neutrals. 

Natural materials! Continuing on from 2025, homes are embracing natural textures and materials, moving completely on from the stark minimalism of the 2010s. From woods to stones, homes and decor are embracing a more natural look. It’s much easier to match to, from the flooring to small decor to wall color to furniture. 

Personalized tile. As kitchens and bathrooms are redone, people are using more personalized tile! Instead of uniform tiles such as subway, many renovations are embracing painted, unique tiles. It’s a great way to make a space feel more lived in and much more cozy. 

Color drenching! Continuing on from 2025, color drenching remains popular. Clients who renovate homes often treat the ceiling as the “fifth wall”, and so color drenching is a great way to utilize the ceiling and can make the space pop. From light colors to gem tones, color drenching is an incredible way to make a home beautiful.
